This unfortunately did not surprise me. Movies have a great influence on Americans and how we portray a certain ethnic group can have an impact. As a result, I feel all ethnic and religous groups should be portrayed in the most diplomatic way possible.

This really frustrates me as well. If this movie is "too black" for you, than pretty much ninety percent of movies these days are "too white". No one seems to complain about that, however. There seems to be a double standard for black people in hollywood as well.

This made me disappointed. Before reading this article, I thought Hollywood was more accepting of gay people unlike other influential areas. However, after reading this I realized this isn't the case which makes me sad.

I feel it was nice that audiences want more diversity. However, it was unfortunate that Hollywood still hasn't gotten the message completely yet. While we have made progess, there is still more to come.

This frustrates me. In this day and age, the fact people still think like this is ridiculous. I'm sure people are educated on historic events such as slavery and discrimination. Yet they still can't help but think this way.
